Watercolor, pickle lady, © Janelle Meraz Hooper1-30-06- The weather is still miserable. The watercolor is one I did several years ago. I’m just posting it because it has color! The woman is picking cucumbers on a pickle farm. During a juried art show once, a juror said it had "underlying social significance" and gave it a high score. Underlying social significance? In a pickle?
